Pim Fortuyn
De tulp ‘Pim Fortuyn’ is vernoemd naar Pim Fortuyn, een Nederlandse politicus en publicist die bekendstond om zijn controversiële en opvallende politieke ideeën. Fortuyn was een flamboyante figuur die zich richtte op onderwerpen zoals immigratie en de islamisering van de Nederlandse samenleving. Hij werd in 2002 vermoord tijdens de verkiezingscampagne, wat een grote schok in Nederland veroorzaakte.
