De oorsprong van de naam “Cilesta” is niet heel specifiek gedocumenteerd, maar het kan een verwijzing zijn naar de lucht (van het Latijnse “caelestis” wat “hemels” betekent) of kan gewoon een creatieve naamgeving zijn zonder directe betekenis.
